how to send data to external site RRS feed

  • Question

  • i'm new in MS CRM Dynamics.

I'm finding a hard time to find any documentation that specifies how to send CRM data to an external site.

for example i want to send Contact data when the contact is created/modified/deleted, if anyone is familiar with Salesforce this can be achieved with Salesforce outbound message.

Is there any same feature offered in CRM Dynamics ?

  • Hi,

You can write Plugins which will trigger on created/update/delete of the Contact record (or any record).
Within your plugin code implement different logic to capture and send the relevant Contact data to different system.
    1. Capture the contact data, pass the data to your web service/API which will send data to your external site
    2. Capture the contact data, construct an XML and send to external system or dump to specific location.
    3. Capture the contact data and update to different database.
