Does Synctoy v.2 support multiple users who uses the same network folder as source of data? At the moment we are having problems like the the files really does not sync or source data is locked as filename.synctoy_backup -files etc. So my question is actually, does the synctoy support multiple simultaneous users using the same network folder as a source data in echo mode? Thank you for you support in advance!
Are you using SyncToy 1.4 or SyncToy 2.0? And as long as the multiple simulataneous users are not sharing folder pairs ( they all have their own folder pairs defined for the common folder) this should definitely work.
Thanks DeepaDeepa ( Microsoft Sync Framework)

Yes, if your users sync the files simultaneous, it will encounter file locking issue. I think, maybe you do not need users sync files from same source at the same time, if you shcedule the users one by one could be a workaround.

I use a programme to file synchronization, which is called File Sync. File sync and backup software (http://www.fileutilityblog.com/archives/229) is a necessary thing for everybody. Program File Sync is distinguished by convenient interface in usage, clearness and clearness of solved problems, applied character and absence of difficult panels of menu. That is why I use this program and haven't problems with synchronization.
