Can't log out .... login problem RRS feed

  • Question

  • Hi Friends,

I've a problem that when I log in into CRM Facility Management it either automatically log's me in or opens a window a few times. But I can't log out. There is no option to log out of it. I need to log out because I want to use two different users on the same machine.I 'm unable to understand this phenomenon. My CRM workplace works fine. I can log in and log out.

    Thanks in advance,

    Sebastian

  • In a typical on-premise deployment, CRM uses integrated Windows authentication. So if you are logged on to your PC, you are automatically logged into CRM when you visit the CRM URL.

To log on as another user, try using the IP address of the server instead of the URL. For example: http://1.1.1.1/orgname/loader.aspx. You should be prompted for your user credentials (depending upon your IE settings).

    Hope this helps?

  • As neil pointed correctly, you don't have facility to login/logoff in on-premise, if you want you can set it through IE setting (Tools->Security->Custom level->logon)

hope it will help you !!!
