Spostare HD su nuovo PC senza formattare

  • Ciao,

    non ho fretta, ma si è rotto un PC su cui girava un'applicazione che sarebbe preferibile conservare senza doverla reinstallare.

    Non si è potuto fare sysprep e non si è potuto rimuovere preventivamente il driver del controller SATA/raid prima di spostare il disco su un nuovo pc.

    Al momento ho creato una macchina virtuale per fare eventuali prove , ma al riavvio non parte per incompatibilità con il controller.

    Esiste un modo per rimuovere il driver nvidia raid da un immagine vhdx offline(cioè un'immagine che posso leggere solo attaccata ad un altro pc perché non si avvia)?

  • Ciao, domanda, ma hai provato anche in versione VMware della VM? O con Virtualbox? perchè a volte basta cambiare la piattaforma che virtualizza, gestendo diversamente l'emulazione scsi\sata si ottengono spesso risultati e quando hai fatto vai a fare una conversione V2V se proprio la vuoi su una piattaforma diversa.

    In altro modo puoi usare anche Acronis Universal Restore se ne hai uno da qualche parte, quello non mi ha mai deluso e la passi da fisica a fisica inserendo i driver necessari del controller prima del restore.

  • voglio segnalare, oltre alle vostre preziose info che in rete si trova un vbs che modifica il driver dello storage per far ripartire la macchina.

    Il PC aveva un raid Nvidia e al boot avevo sempre INACCESSIBLE BOOT DEVICE. Non sono riuscito ne con DISM ne con powershell. non ho provato con vmware perche lo script mi è sembrato più veloce

    lo script si chiama fix_7hdc e si trova agevolmente in rete con google

    In pratica, boot con cd di windows. shift+f10 per avere il prompt e poi cscript fix_7hdc /enable /search

    riavvio e tutto ok

    Hai trovato una vera chicca, io avevo qualche vbs, ma iniettava solo i driver di vmware (erano script che usavo prima che uscisse il vmware data converter, quando gli errori 7B nelle conversioni p2v erano la normalità) questo fa molto di più....
