Active Sync does connect HP IPAQ with desktop but won't synchronize RRS feed

  • Since a week my IPAQ won't synchronize with my desktop. The devices wille connect but nothing further.
    I also can't open Active Sync on the desktop (windows XP), nothing happens. This also happens when a new version of Active Sync (4.5) has been installed. So I can't delete a partnership on the desktop.

    Doe s anyone know what's going on.

    I don't know exactly what is going wrong in your case with ActiveSync. Are you able to uninstall ActiveSync and delete all the folders ActiveSync uses.
    ActiveSync also uses folders in C :\Documents and Settings\[USERNAME] \

    Search for folders there to completely remove all the ActiveSync Settings.

    Please make sure you have a proper backup of your device!
