Contact Us - not Lead as a campaign response


  • Hello,
    How is it possible that I get the data entered by the form "Contact Us" is not recordedas the lead but as a campaign response in CRM.

  • If you look at the website code you will see that we are using the CrmEntityFormView control and the entity name that is used is the lead entity.  You can change this to another entity and use a saved query to determine the fields included in the form.  That said, the campaign response entity is a little special in that it will have some other fields that you have to fill out.  You can either replace the use of the CrmEntityFormView with a standard web form and custom code that will insert into the campaign response.  Another approach would be to use a CRM workflow to insert a campaign response from the lead that is created to the campaign that you want.
