Windows 7 Professional Can not update to ServicePack 1

Dear All..

I am trying to update my computer with OS Windows 7 Professional x64. I updated offline by installing the package from the Microsoft catalog, but I found a problem, every install was successful and when the computer restarted and the update process stopped at 30%, after that the computer restarted but could not boot Windows, and the startup repair system restore appeared. I checked the event log, there wasn't any error message.

I did not reinstall windows because I have many types of computers that are the problem. please help to resolve this problem. thank you

There are a couple of things that can help - installing some of the updates in a specific order before installing the SP being the best.

However, the very best solution is to install Windows 7 from a disk/USB stick using the version with SP1 already embedded.
