For some reason, your system is unable to properly recognise the SLIC table present in your machine – and is therefore trying to Activate the OEM_SLP Key in use here, using the MS servers. OEM_SLP Keys are special one – they use teh Certificates that should be present in the OS, together with the BIOS SLIC table, to self-activate. They cannot be activated by any other means. You need to change the Product Key to the one on your COA sticker on the machines case, using the Change Product Key ;ink at the bottom of the System properties page. You may have to activate by phoneT

If you are having activation problems, please post an MGADIag report to your OWN NEW thread - this ensures that it gets best attention, and doesn't confuse the issues.
To properly analyse and solve problems with Activation and Validation, we need to see a full copy of the report produced by the MGADiag tool
(download and save to desktop - http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=52012 )
Once saved, run the tool.
Click on the Continue button, which will produce the report.
To copy the report to your response, click on the Copy button in the tool (ignore any error messages at this point), and then paste (using either r-click/Paste, or Ctrl+V ) into your response.
- **in your own thread**, pleasePlease also state the Version and Edition of Windows quoted on your COA sticker (if you have one) on the case of your machine (or inside the battery compartment), but do NOT quote the Key on the sticker!
