Win 7 Invalid Product Key Error

Question
-
Getting an invalid product key when the Windows 10 installer tries to authenticate the key before installing.
Dell machine preinstalled with Windows 7 Home Prem OA.
Ran slui.exe and it popped up with authentication successful but nothing else.

You can only upgrade from WIndows 7 SP1 - not RTM.
You first need to install Service Pack 1 for Windows 7 and then try again.
