key is not working.... RRS feed

  • Question

  • I installed a pirated version of windows xp SP2 (because I lost the restore cd) but the key on the bottom of my laptop is not working.  I bought it brand new from gateway in december of 2005 so it should work so whats the deal?  I used the tool to change my key and it says its an inorrect product key im NOT paying for another install disk because my product is SUPPOSED to work.  I'll gladly email the product key along with a picture of the bottom of my laptop and a print screen of the invalid product key message to prove that its genuine if needed.
