    There is a way to use Windows HPC Pack where head node runs Windows 2012R OS and compute nodes can be Linux.

    CentOS 7 Images are available for compute nodes but not as a head node. Can we have Linux as HPC head node?

    No, HPC Pack head node cannot be installed on a Linux machine.
