Litigation Hold in Exchange Online O365

Question
-
Hello, team.
Currently the organization where I work is exploring the different functionalities provided by O365 in terms of Exchange Online and its retention by trial, I have the required licensing to use this functionality.
https://docs.microsoft.com/es-es/microsoft-365/compliance/create-a-litigation-hold?view=o365-worldwide
Currently I have not had to enable Exchange Online archiving, since the E3 licensing capacity is 100 GB for Exchange Online, taking into account this observation I have the following doubts or questions.
Can I enable retention by trial to all my mailboxes, without the need to enable Exchange Online archiving?
Can I enable Exchange Online archiving, once the retention by trial has been enabled?
Can Exchange Retention by trial be considered as a backup?
Thank you very much.

Hello, retrntion policies can be used by individualy. So, you don’t need to enable online archiving for use any retention policy. you can enable online archiving whenever you want. It can work by manually or you can trigger it with retention policy don’t think like you have backup once you enabled any type of hold/retention. Because it designed to preserve user data for e-discovery purposes, not to restore lost data. hope this helps

How to develop a game on roblox
If you're interested in developing a game on Roblox, there are a few things you'll need to do. First, you'll need to create a Roblox account and login. Once you're logged in, you'll need to click on the "Develop" tab, which can be found at the top of the page.Next, you'll need to choose whether you want to create a Place or a Game. If you're not sure what the difference is, don't worry - you can always change your mind later. Once you've decided which one you want to make, click on the "Create New" button. Now it's time to start building! You can use Roblox's built-in editor to design your Place or Game. The editor is pretty user-friendly, so even if you've never used it before, you should be able to figure it out pretty quickly.Once you're happy with your creation, it's time to publish it. Click on the "Publish" button and follow the prompts. That's all there is to it! Now other people will be able to play your game or visit your Place.

Hello! Regarding your question, yes, you can enable retention by trial to all your mailboxes without the need to enable Exchange Online archiving. Retention policies in Exchange Online allow you to apply a common set of retention settings to all messages in your organization, regardless of where they're stored. I hope this information is helpful!
