Commercial use? RRS feed

  • Question

  • I noticed the EULA says not for commercial use. It looks like the people who are using it on websites are using it for commercial use. Is it possible to buy this so I can use it for commercial use?

  • There currently is no plan to change the EULA or make a for-pay version of ICE available.  ICE is maintained by a few Microsoft employees as a side project and comes with very limited product support. From our standpoint commercial use terms implies more support for the product than we can provide at this time.

  • So am I to understand that because there is zero support for commercial use, a company is not authorized to use the software and then publish the files to their website?
