  • Hi, had the same thing on my kids PC. I read that you need to uninstall windows live essentials and re-install it. Instead of following what the other links said to do, I went into control panel and add/remove programmes or uninstall a programme in win7. When i clicked to uninstall windows live essentials the window that came up gave me the option to either remove or repair windows live essentials. I opted to try a repair hopeing it would be quicker the removeing and re-installing everything. Hey, it worked. After a few minuites the repair was complete. I restarted windows and no more error message.

Hope this helps some of you out there with the same problem.

Oh, by the way, I am running windows 7 home on the kids pc.

This might work the same with xp but im not sure. Give it a try, you got nothing to loose
