Hi,
I have two computers installed with the latest Windows 10 20H2 and one of the computers in these few days appears the reminder message to request to change the password in coming 5days after login the Windows system. However, I didn't set any password and also enabled the password to never expire in the windows system.
Thus, anybody can know any change of system to cause upon reminder message from the system and how to disable such reminder message.
Thanks

TLDR:
Potential impact
Users see a dialog-box that prompts them to change their password each time that they log on to the domain when their password is configured to expire in 5 or fewer days.So thats what you are experiencing.
net accounts /maxpwage:unlimited sets the password age to unlimited which in essence is a security risk. Rotating your passwords regularly is always recommended.

I have faced the similar issue when I upgraded to Windows 10. It gave me the notification saying my password is expired and need to change.

- Right click on This PC and then select Manage to open Computer Management System.
- Then, go to Local Users and Groups then select Users.
- After that, Double click on your user account.
- Check the option of Password Never Expired and then click Ok.
These are the steps I followed. Hope this will help you to resolve this issue.

Hi,
What type of account you use to log into the system?
You might have accidentally chosen to sign in with a Microsoft account when you've already signed in with a local computer account without a password.
Choose the local computer account instead of the account that prompts you for a password.
Also,
Click Start / Settings (the gear in the left column).
Click on System
In the left column, click Shared experiences.
Turn off nearby sharing and sharing on all devices.
Hope the above information can help you. -
Lucky me that I have never found this kind of issues but if you research a little bit on google I think you can solve the problem. But a forum can be more helpful as a lot of people shares their experience. I hope you have found a solution already. Even if not don't give up.

Today I received a mail for password expiration in 14 days. and, after a restart, a Windows logon reminder in the notification area. Are the two notifications the same thing? I am the alone user of my computer and I have never seen before this time. I have no any passwords or credentials to login. My OS is Windows 7 Home Premium, 32 bit and I get Internet though cable. If you have any solution, please resolve my issues.

Press "Windows + R" to open Run, type in: gpedit.msc, and press Enter to open Local Group Policy Editor in Windows 10.
Navigate to Computer Configuration\Windows Settings\Security Settings\Password Policy.
Double-click on the Maximum password age and Minimum password age to change the password expiration time.

You might have accidently chosen to login with a Microsoft account when you were logging in previously with a local machine account with no password.
Choose the local machine account instead of the one that is asking you for a password.

Click on Start / Settings (the gear in the left column).
Click on System
Click on Shared Experiences in the left column.
