  我建议你可以尝试使用较新版本的visual studio.Microsoft似乎已经不再对Visual C++ 6.0提供支持。

  尽管兼容性不佳但Win10第一版还支持VC6.0的安装，最新的Win10版本已不能安装VC6.0，

  但Win10支持虚拟机系统，可以通过安装虚拟机Win2K或XP，再安装VC6来实现Win10系统下开发Win32的应用程序功能。

  Visual Studio是一套付费的IDE开发工具吧，安装所要占用的磁盘空间是不是很庞大，就像Office一样，根本不给用户自定义安装的选择，还有就是安装这个会创建一堆后台服务吗？

  嗯，用虚拟机也是个不错的办法，只是在Windows 2000或XP环境下编译出的程序，能拿到最新的Windows 10系统上正常运行吗？

  另外，Windows Server 2008 R2和Windows Server 2019可以安装Visual C++ 6.0吗？

  一个人搞着玩玩，在Windows 2000或XP环境下编译出的程序，何必拿到Windows 10系统上正常运行；

  否则建议升级至Visual C++ 2010（https://blog.csdn.net/csdnmicrosoftcsdn/article/details/50922902）试试。
