Cannot run exe on schedule task only RRS feed

  • Since our Vendor helps us to run exe on Window 2019 server, it can work on double click the exe and generate the log file on our folder

     

    But when we set this exe run on schedule task and run immediate, This status display running , But never do anything .The history say this completed

     

    But no log file create and the process look like cannot run , How to debug this situation

    Thanks for posting the issue in Microsoft Chinese  technique forum. So which the language prefer to you to post issue, English or Chinese?

    1.Does your computer joined to domain?

    2.When you create a task, did you set security options like below picture? If it is not, please set 
    when running the task, use the following user account 
    set to local administrator or domain admin account.
    run whether user is logged on or not 
    select run with highest privileges


    3.When issue happen, is there any log about our issue?
    C:\Windows\System32\winevt\Logs
    System.evtx
    application.evtx
    Microsoft-Windows-TaskScheduler%4Operational.evtx
    Microsoft-Windows-TaskScheduler%4Maintenance.evtx

    4.
    You can check if there are below or other related logs.
    Event ID 100 indicates that a scheduled task has been started
    Event ID 101 indicates that an application failed to start.
    An Event ID 102 is normally logged when a task completes successfully,
    When a task is started but the action configured for the task is not performed, an Event ID 103 or an Event ID 203 is normally logged.
