Windows Patch update & WSUS report issue RRS feed

    2018-1 Microsoft released 5 patches for server 2012 R2, after I assign these patches to the 2012 R2

    I found some server haven’t received patches in Windows update. Then I search patches KB and download them from catalog.update.microsoft.com

    After installed, I cannot saw the patch instructions in the windows update and WSUS report still display “Not Applicable”

    what's the reason?

    Hi Siwen Lu,

    1. Please check the problematic machines' report time on the WSUS server, check if they report to the WSUS server correctly;

    2. Also check the windows update log on the client, check if there's any error;

    3. On the WSUS server, please run Server Cleanup Wizard, check if it could help.

    hello Anne：

    after check ,no issue be found

    if WSUS report display A server install some patch  "Not Applicable"  I still can manually install

    do you meet this issue before ?
