unable to enter the abridgement direcotry in windows8 CMD (for D disk) RRS feed

    like:

    in win7 system, it is available to do the following command

    D:\>cd Progra~1

    D:\PROGRA~1>

    but it is not available in win8 system (PS: C:\>cd Progra~1 is also available, but not for D:\)

    Please help me.
