I was using MS Entertainment keyboard set 8000 on VISTA with no problems whatsoever for the past 2 years. I upgraded to Windows 7 and downloaded the lastest driver from Microsoft update. But I occassionally got pauses on both mouse and keyboard which I had not experienced while I was using VISTA
The Bluetooth dongle light will randomly flash for a couple seconds and my mouse and keyboard will stop react at that time. I have unplugged all USB except the MS hub with dongle According to device list, the MS BT Transceiver is in HIGH SPEED According to the event log, there is no activities happened when the BT dongle blinks. Sometimes my keyboard will be in sleep mode, took a while before the stuff I type showed up if my keyboard was left untouched for a whilte.
Wonder if my keyboard set is soon to be RIP or if it is some problems with Windows 7 other may have encountered.
