    Hi all,

     

    Problem:

    The error code 425 is received when I use the put or get command with the Internet Transfer Control 6.0 in VB 6.0.  IIS 5.0 and VB 6.0 SP6 is being used. We do not have any upgrade plan to IIS 6.0 yet although MSDN article suggests to do so.  Please let me know if there is any hotfix or solution to fix the problem.  Thanks.

    425 is cannot open the socket.

     

    Please ensure your IIS is open, your windows firewall is not block the port or program, or you can test if the ITC can connect to outside to ensure it's server or client issue.

    Thanks for your useful info.  The problem was solved by allowing the program to run in Windows Firewall.
