file browsing window on win 7 missing the address bar RRS feed

  • I think I screw something up... My default file browsing window on win 7 missing
    the address bar and the side bar.. here the picture..

    This is I try to open a file in ms paint...help...!! (Same as saving files VERY ANNOYING)

    the one with the black arrow actaully only let you change icon size,like list
    views,details , the second one let you to change layout, but it actually ONLY
    hide and show the preview at the right hand side..so both buttons at the top bar
    can do nothing to recall the address bar and left side bar

    and the
    question mark button bring up the help which is useless

    Firstly, if the issue did not occur previously, please try to perform a system restore and see how it works.


    If system restore cannot help, based on my research, please try the following:


    1. Boot into Clean Boot Mode and test the issue again.


    2. Create a new user account and see how it works.

    If another user account works fine, please follow the steps in Fix a corrupted user profile.
