  • Hi, barton_chow,

    As I know, if Vista identify your network as a "private" network, you will get this issue.  I think you can config it as works / public network, then it should work again.

    I have tried to search more related to that, it about the Vista and DHCP, a KB may help for your case.  http://support.microsoft.com/kb/928233

    Hope it can help.

  • Hi Barton,

    Have you try to install another browser and see if you still have the same problem?

    Could you copy us the full error message with the URL that you trying to access, so that we can understand you problem in more detail?.

    Maybe you can try to reset the security settings on your IE.
    E.g. In IE7 go to Tools-->Internet Options then click on the Security Tab and Click "Reset all zones to default level"

    Not sure if this could help.

    Good luck

  • We need to confirm something before we can go further to help you, please try to do this,

    "Start"-->"Run"-->"cmd"

    A Command Prompt will be pop up and in the command prompt, type "ipconfig /all"

    Tell us what you have in that result.
