    I'm sorry if I make this post in the wrong section but I don't know where I should ask for help
    My Internet Explorer won't connect to the internet, currently I'm using Mozilla Firefox which works fine
    Recently there is an application error about Internet Explorer and I'm not sure if it is related to the problem I'm facing now
    It said:
    "Application Failure iexplore.exe 6.0.2900.2180 in securenet.dll 0.0.0.0 at offset 0x000f4360"
    I've tried to scan the computer using Bitdefender Total Security 2008 and no virus is detected
    What actually is wrong with my IE and how can I solve it?

    If you are using Hide My IP 2007, Uninstall it.

    thanks for helping
    but i've uninstalled it using ccleaner previously

    also, just now some "debug assertion failed" error has occured
    my windows is frozen and the ctrl+alt+del is not working
    i have to restart the pc by force manually
    is everything happening related?

    Dear DavieW,

     

    Is the problem solved yet? If not, please give us a full list of software that you haev installed in your PC in order to see which third party application cause the error.
