  • hi,

    is there any way i can keep the format intact (ie with dates and suject lines instead of codes) on my flash drive for all my "exported" winmail? ( yes, the format displays intact once you import the file but sometimes it's easier to browse thru the file if on a flash drive than to import the entire file). manythks. also, the "warnings" about loosing the "properties" of some of the emails which i copied onto my flash. anyone any ideas?! thks a bunch

    Hi,

    Regarding how to export email messages, I would like to share the following with you for your reference:

    How to export e-mail messages from Windows Mail & Outlook Express into Outlook.

    http://support.microsoft.com/kb/196347

    How to export email messages from Windows Live Mail into Outlook

    Please try to capture a screenshot on the issue that the mail format is incorrect in your flash drive for our further research:

    Capture a screenshot

    ==============

    1)   Press the Print Screen key (PrtScn) on your keyboard.

    2)   Click the "Start" menu, type "mspaint" in the Search Bar and Press Enter.

    3)   In the Paint program, click the "Edit" menu, click "Paste", click the "File" menu, and click "Save".

    4)   The "Save As" dialogue box will appear. Type a file name in the "File name:" box, for example: "screenshot".

    5)   Make sure "JPEG (*.JPG;*.JPEG;*.JPE;*.JFIF)" is selected in the "Save as type" box, click “Desktop” on the left pane and then click "Save".

    For your convenience, I have created a workspace for you. You can upload the file via the following link.  (Please choose "Send Files to Microsoft")

    Password is “6]Q[tQD]YX-$q2x” (without quotations).

    Hope this helps.

    Thanks.
