usb thumb doesnt appear in computer, but can see in disk management

  Hi all

         i have a window xp, and when i put in usb thumb in the usb port, the drive letter doesnt show in my computer, but when i go to disk management, i can see the usb thumb drive letter is there, i have tired all the usb ports on the computer, all has the same result, any idea how to fix it ?
