Windows 2k Server ( Ad for file share function ) and End User RRS feed

  • Dear All,

     

    If some of End User who can't to connect to the Net Drive ( by the cmd of net use...)...

    So, what is the solution for this case ?

  • Hi,

     

    Please check

     

    1. In the user desktop, ping the file server and see if there have any response (Using namehost or using IP)

    2. Check if the user change the password recently.

    3. Check if the drive letter has been used.

     

    There have few possible problem. Please give us more detail, like the error message and we can give you some advise.

    May be network setting, user creditial, computer setting....etc

    So we need to know the error message in order to help you solve it.

    For point 1, there is no any error log records about the problem of Net Drive connection ( mapping by cmd of net use )...

    For point 2, I try to output the screenshot and email to you...

     

    Is it the problem of AD ( Domain Controller ), Tuest ?

    If so, how to fix the problem ?
