I recently assembled a new computer and tried reinstalling Microsoft Office 2007 on it and I faced a problem. While I was able to get Business Contact Manger to work previously on the old computer, I was unable to do so on the new computer. Everytime I tried to download the patch for Business Contact Manager and install it, an error message 'The expected version of the product was not found on your system.' would appear and I am unable to install Business Contact Manager.
Does anybody have the same experience? I just found it rather strange that I could use it previously on the old computer running Vista Home Basic but unable to even install it on the new computer running Vista Business.
I've updated Vista Business and have updated the Office to SP1 before trying installing BCM. Tried everything I could.
