    How can I Increase the amount of free space by growing the database file?

    A large increase in the amount of data saved to the operational database can be caused by:

    New Management Packs

    Change to existing management pack rules or monitors

    An operational condition in the environment that is causing more than the typical amount of data (e.g. more alerts)

    Resolutions

    Increase the amount of free space by growing the database file.

    The Resolutions is increase your Ops DB free spaces. you can increase/expand  your database free spaces by SQL Enterpices Manger on SQL 2000 or Use the SQL management tool on SQL 2005.

     

    Otherwise, you can ignore this error messages. Normaly, your Ops DB should be configured AutoGrowth on SQL. This error messages should be warning your OPS database free spaces under the standard/recommend  free spaces for your operation.
