Migrate the AD from Small business server 2003 to an Exchange server (vm) RRS feed

    Dear Sir/Madam,

    i will migrate the AD from Small business server 2003 to an Exchange server (vm), and then depromo the SBS AD, and use the SBS for other function.

    where can i find the guideline and document to do so?

    Hi,

     

    Since the limitation of SBS, such as FSMO roles cannot be transferred and trust relationship cannot be created, you will need a special tool, Windows Small Business Server 2003 R2 Transition Pack to perform the migration.
