Acquire Windows server and SQL server Device CAL license RRS feed

    We use Windows 2000 Advanced server and SQL Enterprise Server 2000 currently.  We need to add 4 more client workstations in nearest future.  We are going to procure the Device CAL license to serve this purpose.  I would like to know if we procure open license of Windows Server CAL 2008 Device CAL and SQl CAL 2008 Device CAL can have downgrade rights to access Windows 2000 server and SQL server 2000????  Thanks!!

    There have no more Windows 2000 license and SQL Server 2000 license to sell. You may purchase Windows 2008 and SQL 2008 CAL if you need additional license.

    Please also notes that those servers versions will not supported by MS. I will suggested you can consider to upgrade the servers and SQL Server.
