    Hi,

     

    We have SQL2000 database, the database size & log file size is very large, then how can we online backup the transaction log file, since we need to recover the database point in time. I think that we should online copy the log file for backup, say every 5 minutes. Could we have any efficiently method to do it ?

    You can't copy log file without shut down sql service, check my response in your other post.

    Can we online copy the log file for exchange 2003 ? Any other method for online sql backup, say sql 2000 or latest version ?

    You can backup db and log with sql backup statement, it's online process. Don't know exchange since it's not on sql.
