Install Office 2007 Professional on Terminal Server 2003 RRS feed

  • I purchased an Office 2007 Proffesional version and install it on my company terminal server 2003. After the installation it prompted up an error message shown that 'This copy of Microsoft Office cannot be used on terminal server'

    But when I return the Office CD to the retailer, he had tried to install it on his server 2003 without any error messages and can be used.

    Can anyone tell me what is the problem?

    Based on my research, you can request a volume license key from your reseller. You can install Office 2007 on your terminal server using the volume license key.

  • But why the retaier can installed it on his terminal server? Can I obtain the VLK by myself?
