AutoCAD 2004, does Window 7 support this software? if so, which edition?

  Maybe you can try to use the "Troubleshoot compatibility" feature in Win7

  You can use it but right clicking on the application and select "Trobleshoot compatibility" then follow the instruction, it will try to fix the compatibility issue for you.
