Error occurs when adding a new data source in Visual Studio 2005 RRS feed

    Hi, 
I got an error message when I add new data source in Visual Studio 2005,
The error message as follow:-
"An unexpected errors has occured."
"Error message: 機碼用在特定狀態時無效."

Please advise how to solve this problem.

    According to screenshooting, the issue is caused by empty connection string in datasource wizard.

    Hello Derek,

    This is a general error message, which doesn’t help on researching.
    Could you please provide some more detailed information about how did you add the datasource into Visual Studio 2005? I will try it on my side.

    By the way, I suggest you may also check if you have installed vs 2005 sp1, because a lot of issue has been fixed in this service pack. You can get it from

    I am using the Visual Studio 2005 profressional, not the team suite version, is the [Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 Team Suite Service Pack 1] also can install for my profressional version ?

    The downloaded sp1 could be applied for Visual Studio® 2005 Standard, Professional and Team Editions. You can check the Brief Description part in Document.
