Installation of Visual Studio in 64 bit windows

  I think you should be able to install VS2005 on to 64bit Windows.
  
  Please see the VS2005 System requirement below.

  Could you let us know what Version of windows do you have any what error message do you receive when you install VS 2005.

  Hi ChiYau,
  
  I double clarified with our System Admin. Actually, he can install VS 2005 on 64 bit windows, but not VS .NET.
  He got error "Unable to install Visual Studio .NET on 64 bit operate system.".
  I cant find if VS .NET can be installed on 64 bit windows inside http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/4c26cc39(VS.71).aspx.
  As a result, I would like to confirm if VS .NET cannot work on 64 bit environment.
  In this case, we can only prepare another 32 bit environment for it.

  Hi Man,
  
  I assume your copy of Visual Studio .Net is Visual Studio 2003.
  
  I found some info online about how to work around the problem.  "Visual Studio does not install on 64bit Windows"
