Biography
With over 40 years experience in computers, Brian worked for 8 years in the Aerospace, Precision Engineering, and Tailoring industries in the UK, before becoming a Management Consultant for an international management consultancy firm in London - KPMG.
In 1974, Brian and his Wife Pam emigrated to New Zealand with their young family.
Whilst in NZ he was Industrial Engineer, Computer Manager, Corporate Planner and finally Operations Research Executive for Tasman Forestry Ltd - installing the first computer for a forest grower in NZ and developed the World’s first optimisation system for growing, harvesting & processing of forest resources - RegRAM.
In 1994 Brian left Tasman Forestry to purchase the company which, in 2001, became On2it Software, to mark a change in direction towards software development, and the release of its own software products.
After 35 years in NZ, Brian and Pam have just moved to Melbourne in order to spearhead the marketing of On2it Software’s flagship product GEM Networking.
