Biography
In the mid-1980's, Ian began his career in the computer industry. He started selling Leading Edge PCs in Harvard Square and teaching computer programming at a Boston area college. In 1985, Ian joined International Data Corporation (IDC) as a computer industry research analyst. In 1989, he joined Microsoft Corporation and established its first office in Connecticut. By 1995, he managed a sales and marketing organization responsible for generating $300 million of annual business for Microsoft. In 1998, he left Microsoft to become an adviser and angel to web development firms in the New England area. In 2002, Ian started Consider It Fixed, a technology consulting company in West Hartford, Connecticut. Today, Consider It Fixed provides guidance, installation, service and repair of many computer-based technologies to home-based, small and medium size businesses.
