Biography
I am the Principal Architect on Microsoft Research WorldWide Telescope, and also helped take the WWT technology to Microsoft Office with the GeoFlow project. Besides my professional connection to astronomy visualization, I am an avid amateur astronomer and designed and built my own automated domed observatory.
I enjoy both software and hardware projects and love distributed systems. As our group is part of Microsoft Earth, Energy and Environment, I have dived in headfirst into alternative energy and purchased an electric car.
